Professional Microcement Installation Eindhoven
Where design and craftsmanship meet.
Microcement for Eindhoven
Eindhoven thinks ahead. In the lofts of Strijp-S, the renovated Philips factories and the new neighbourhoods around them, you see it everywhere: a preference for clean lines, honest materials and smart solutions. Microcement fits right in.
The material adapts to the space. In an open loft with high ceilings, it emphasises the sense of space. In a compact city home, it makes the room feel larger than it is. No grout, no interruptions - just a continuous surface that amplifies light and space.
The drive for innovation that defines Eindhoven, we see in our clients too. People who consciously choose a material that is not just beautiful, but performs. Forcrete microcement scores 7 on the Mohs scale. Scratch-resistant, waterproof, built for heavy use. That is not a marketing claim, that is material science.
During Dutch Design Week, Eindhoven shows that great design starts with great materials. Microcement is exactly that. A material that does not just look like concrete, but outperforms it.
Discipline As Foundation
Coated Surfaces grew out of a world where precision isn't negotiable. Founder Pom spent years as a professional dancer at Cirque du Soleil. Every night the same movement, down to the millimetre. That might sound far from floors and walls, but it's the opposite.
Microcement demands exactly that same control. Timing, feel, precision. The difference between a good floor and an exceptional one comes down to millimetres. We take the time it needs. No rushing, no half measures. Just lasting surfaces that bring calm to a space.

Applications in Eindhoven spaces
Eindhoven is a design city. From the lofts in Strijp-S to the new-build neighbourhoods around Meerhoven, people here make deliberate choices about materials. Microcement fits that mindset. It is not decoration - it is a technical system with measurable performance: Mohs 7 hardness, waterproof finish, compatible with underfloor heating.
In the former Philips factories at Strijp-S you find large spaces with industrial character. A seamless Forcrete microcement floor of sixty, eighty, a hundred square metres reinforces that openness. No grout lines breaking the surface, no transitions between zones. For creative studios and design agencies, that is exactly the backdrop their work needs.
In new builds around Eindhoven, I apply microcement on concrete floors with underfloor heating. The thin build-up of the Forcrete system - just a few millimetres - conducts heat efficiently. On kitchen islands and in bathrooms, I choose a colour and texture together with the client that fits the rest of the interior. Every layer is applied by hand, so no two surfaces are identical. That is what sets it apart from industrial coatings: craftsmanship with the precision of a technical product.
For retail spaces and hospitality venues in the city centre, microcement provides a floor that handles hundreds of visitors a day without showing wear.

Why microcement in Eindhoven?
Eindhoven attracts people who recognise quality. Designers, architects, engineers - people who know that details make the difference. As a certified Forcrete installer, we fit that mentality. We do not work with standard solutions. Every project starts with a conversation about your space, the light, the atmosphere you are looking for. Then we build up the surface, layer by layer, by hand.
At Strijp-S, we see the combination of industrial heritage and modern living. Raw concrete columns next to sleek kitchens - microcement connects those two worlds seamlessly. In the villa neighbourhoods around Philips de Jongh Park, we work in homes where space and calm set the tone. There, people often choose light, warm tones that enhance the daylight. What makes Eindhoven different is that clients here know exactly what they want. They have researched it, compared options, and consciously chosen quality. That fits how we work: transparent, skilled, and with the patience to do it properly. No sales talk, just results.
How does a microcement project work in Eindhoven?
A project in Eindhoven starts with a conversation - often at your home, sometimes based on drawings if the property is still under construction. We discuss your wishes, look at the space and determine together which colour and texture best suit your interior. For loft apartments at Strijp-S, we assess the existing concrete floor and determine whether a levelling layer is needed. For new builds in Meerhoven or Grasrijk, we can often start directly on the screed. You receive a proposal with colour samples, planning and a fixed price. No additional costs afterwards unless you make changes yourself. During execution, Pom works alone or with a regular assistant - no changing faces. The material is applied layer by layer, with drying time between coats. After the final protective layer, the surface gets 48 hours to fully cure. Then we do the handover together and go through everything point by point.
